Review
A man at the heart of the Baston team, Steve had a good 2009 season with bat and ball. His batting was solid at the top of the order, and in 3 successive knocks, he scored 38, 39 and 31. His only disappointment would be his batting in the midweek league where he averaged under 4. His bowling was more than impressive though and his best of 5/25 at home to Grantham was easily the pick. A man at the heart of the Baston team, and nominated as club negotiator (good work Steve!) he has perfected his pig impression this year and is always the last one left at the pub.
Champagne Moment
At home to Stamford, Billy's bullies got a Rico backlash (38) with one lofted cover drive off Billy's bowling sending the rest of the Baston boys into raptures as it raced over the boundary.
