Review
Baston's resident cack-hander played the majority of SLBL games this season, scoring big runs and also a few important minor knocks. Predominantly a backfoot player, Paul tends to favour the legside and scores almost all of his runs in that area, with high scores of 40 and 37. A good example in the field and a useful legspin bowler, Paul may get more of a chance to turn his arm next season after an impressive over at Stamford. Paul is a very popular member of the side, and sharp on his football trivia.
Champagne Moment
With Long Sutton's opener Rayner motoring on 44 away, Felix's leg side drivel was wacked into the legside, not counting on a brilliant one handed bag by Paul Stewart at square leg to turn the tide of the game.
