Review
Due to unavailability and consistency in team selection, no-one saw a lot of Darren in 2009 with the robust all-rounder making a few appearances in each form of the game. With more of a contribution coming in the midweek games, Darren picked up a hatful of cheap wickets against Peterborough's finest batsmen. He didn't show his ability with the bat, with the exception of a fine 27* against Shia Sports, but unfortunately he had to leave early for an important conference call. A jovial character in the team and always the first to get a jug at the Spinner, and won't let anyone forget it.
Champagne Moment
Darren was called up for the Hodgkinson Cup group game against Old Brunnians, and smashed Nick Lee into a nearby river with a couple of monstrous sixes.
