Review
Ufford pro Gibbo enjoyed a fine year with Baston. Despite several occasions of controversy (see reports: Newborough, Claypole, Boston) Gibbo bowled excellently with his accurate off breaks causing trouble for most batsmen in the league. Didn't get as many wickets as he possibly deserved but maintained a good economy rate in all forms of cricket, with special mentions going to his bowling displays away at Timberland (12-6-14-4) and away at Boston (15-3-23-4) helping Baston to wins. Best known by the Baston crowd as a bit of a clown, a ladies man, and for his experimental haircuts.
Champagne Moment
Should be a bowling moment, but Gibbo's fine, under pressure, 37 away at Moulton helped push Baston from anticipated failure to a competitive score.
