| Hinkes, a supporter of the club since Brierton Lane
days, tore a calf msucle sprinting at the start of the
Great North Run. He'd been too busy to seek treatment but
took advantage of Gez's skills when he arrived at
Brinkburn to give his highly entertaininghtalk to raise
funds for the club. He was presented with a club gtie by under 12 player Chris Wray who frequently goes climbing with hiw well known referee dad. |

Club physio Gez Geritz has got Britain's top mountaineeer back into his climbing boots. Alan Hinkes, conquerer of every mountain in the world over 26,500 ft, was at the club to give a fund raising talk.
