The final is likely to be played on the evening of Friday May 16th - the Heughers having beaten Peterlee and Horden 33-19 in the other semi-final.

The semi-final at Brinkburn provided some entertaining rugby with the Stags, playing in the pink breast cancer charity strip, going ahead 10-0 in the first ten minutes - courtesy of tries from Aidan Jackson-Smith, following a penalty, and a smart take by Lewis Scott from a crossfield kick from Zac Southern.
Nick Bennions then charged over from a line-out with Southern taking the score to 17-0.
"Old Boys" came back with a well worked try, which saw them power over close to the posts, only for Jackson-Smith to restore the advantage as he finished off a catch and drive.

It was 22-7 at the break, but that was quickly increased to a 20 point margin as Jacob Wood finished smartly in the left clubhouse corner. The winger then scored the try of the game as he raced clear from his own half to round the full back and set up an easier conversion for Southern. 34-7.
The visitors came back with some concerted pressure of their own, which finally paid off with a try from close range.
They also had the last word with a score from a quick tap penalty. In between Odin Thorpe had stolen line-out ball on the 22 , with Southern finding Scott coming off his wing to take a bullet pass and go in under the posts.
