West are unbeaten in all games this season while Peterlee & Horden (the name change came after their move to Eden Park in Peterlee)  have yet to gain a point from their four games.

However, games between the two sides are always keenly contested.  West have gone into these games as favourites before and come back down the Coast Road with a bloody nose.

The experience of  two similar hard-fought wins over Old Boys and Rovers should stand the home side in good stead. One familiar face to both sides will be missing - Davy Heckles has a hamstring strain and will take the opportunity of resting it against his former teammates. 

Fortunately, skipper Ryan Painter is back with the versatile Sam Heron moving to outside centre.

Otherwise it's the same starting XV which scored six tries at the New Friarage last week. There are changes on the bench with Zac Southern returning to provide backs cover after leading the Stags to their own big win against the Heughers last week.

Alex Johnson has also been playing well in a rejuvenated Stags side and he will be on the bench alongside Jordan Baggs.

Things are definitely buoyant at Brinkburn at the moment and a lot has to do with the effort being put into the Stags by the team management and coaches. There are 25 lads wanting to make the trip to Peterlee including Stu Waites, who was influential in last week's win, and speedy centre Connor Allen who has re-signed for the club after being out of the game for a couple of years.

This week also sees the return to action of No.8 Andy Turner who has been missing so far this season because of work commtments.
