Chris Webb Returns
Former West second row Chris Webb is back at the club to use his considerable coaching experience to assist his former West and Durham County teammate Jamie Connolly next season....

As a 6ft 5in lock Chris was a part of Mike Brewer's squad in the professional era before moving to Mowden Park in 2002.

He is Head of Boys' Games, Rugby and Tennis at Yarm School and has amassed a wealth of experience as an RFU Level 3 coach and at junior level as a lead representative of age grade rugby.

Chris will have the benefit of working with some experienced, and powerful, players who are making their comeback. No 8.Sam Miller is back in training after missing several seasons following his knee injury in a warm-up game against Rochdale, while backrow Jay Corbett is also fit again and looking to play alongside brother Will who featured a number of times for the first team last season.

Twenty eighty year old Alex Johnson, now mainly a second row,  is also back in the fold after returning from Rovers.
