Team To Take On Acklam

Team To Take On Acklam
Both the Firsts and Stags were  due to take on Acklam this week - unfortunately the Talbots can't raise a side to travel to  Brinkburn...

The Firsts continue to look to finish the season with a flourish with Rovers at home next week and a trip to Peterlee on April 26th to take on "the Leds."

Acklam will be on a different kind of mission. Like many clubs they struggled to get a side out when faced with the high scoring leaue leaders. Last week they did manage to travel to Percy Park, albeit with a much reduced squad,  and suffered a 124-5 defeat.

No doubt selection will be easier this week - beware the wounded tiger, as they say.

Liam Bailey and Lewis Scott are both missing from last week's West side due to work and holiday commitments. Zac Southern takes over  on the wing from "Riggers" while Andy Turner returns at No 8 with Chris Atkins moving back to flanker.

Aidan Jackson-Smith is also back to return at hooker with Adam Brown away and resting his various injuries.

The starting line- up for the backs will be the same one which finished last week's win where the points difference finally went  into the black (+31). So Matt Siddle will be at full back with Sam Heron at fly-half.
