Terry, who also played for Cambridge University and Moseley, played twice for England in 1996. His debut was against Wales at Twickenham in an 11-6 defeat and his second cap was against Ireland also at Twickenham which was a 6-6 draw. One of his caps is on display in the clubhouse.
The former West Hartlepool Grammar School for Boys' pupil made 100 appearances for Wasps scoring 50 tries. In his professional life he was a leading actuary and a fellow of Pensions and Financial Regulation at the Institute of Economic Affairs
Terry's dad Gordon, better known as Rooty, was a first team captain and club President, with the lounge at Brierton Lane named in his honour. Thoughts are very much with the family including sister Jean, who attended Ian Hunter's funeral last week, and brother Mick.
