The Stags will host the Heughers on Tuesday December 28th for the Bill Bowden Memorial Trophy.
Before that there is the small matter of league points at stake for all four sides. Our win over Acklam last week coincided with a big defeat for a depleted Rovers at leaders Percy Park, so we go into the game four points ahead of our old rivals. The closest it's been for some years.
We will have the benefit of a few famliar faces returning from injury together with the usual changes as some players can't make it for one reason or another.
Adam Brown is back from injury and Adam Coates and Scott Butcher are back from Center Parcs. Ollie Connolly and Tim Blades are unavailable while Max Tennant is away so brother Jake starts on the wing.
Owen westhorp and Chris Atkins are compulsorily resting after head injuries and Alex Barker is still suffering from the back injury he sustained last week while Adam Huthcinson is also carrying a knock.
