The Firsts look to continue their unbeaten home run. Adam Coates and Scott Butcher have taken their families away for a pre-Xmas treat. Fortunately, we have Liam Bailey returning to the back row with Tim Blades getting his first start in the front row, after last playing for West before he set off for Australia.
Stu Waites is fit again to steer the ship from fly-half with Ollie Connolly and Owen Westhorp providing a new centre partnership.
Adam Hutchinson is also back from injury to continue his very promising first season in the senior front row, and in the same vein Will Corbett will once again partner Jake Linighan in the second row.
Acklam arrive having won three of their ten games. However, in a tight league their points record is -11 which compares favourably with ours of -36. It could be a high scoring game.
