West Walkers In Action
Our walking rugby team played their first competitive game on the artificial grass pitch yesterday with a return fixture against Blaydon Strollers.

Our boys and girls were leading for most of the game but, in the the true spirity of rugby, the game ended in a 13-13 draw.

Durham RFU were on hand to record the events so we can expect some coverage in the monthly newsletter.

Anyone wanting to have a go - it's not as easy as it looks - can just turn up on a Wednesday evening at 7.00 or  contact Dave Bennett.

Fantastic! Although a bit disappointed that the ever-youthful Hardwick Man is in as a clear ringer!

I think it is absolutely brilliant that you can more or less play some form of Rugby from 5 - 95. Well done to all - looks a formidable squad.
