BeerFest 2021
Boris Johnson has confirmed that significant  lockdown restrictions are due to end on June 21st and we are planning to celebrate with our 11th annual West BeerFest the very next week  - on Friday July 2nd and Saturday July 3rd.

 The Scandals

Kevan Oliphant has been quick to book the entertainment including BeerFest favourites The Scandals who will close the festival on the Saturday night. 

Andy Carroll

Andy Carroll - another West favourite - will be performing indoors on the Friday night

As ever we will be having 30 cask ales, exotic lagers, a big range of cider, wine and a gin bar.

And this year, of all years, we will value the support of sponsors and donors.

Once again we are looking for donations of £150 for an ale, lager, cider or a wine or exotic gin. You'll get your name on the pump, in the BeerFest programme and receive 6 admission tickets worth £10 each which can be used on both days.

Andrew Hainsworth normally looks after the kids’ bouncy castles for us but is unable to do so this year. Instead he is paying for their hire which is a massive help. Many thanks Andrew,

It's a cry for help!

I am back in Hartleppol on Thursday 1st July but I have to quarantine for ten days and miss my first Beer Festival.

It is a kick in the teeth but of course fabulous that the Beer Festival is going ahead. I am assured that Elmo will be dropping by every hour with a burger and a few ales!

Also many thanks to club members who have been working hard in the hope we could have staged our biggest fundraiser of the year.
Ollie has already rebooked the bands for next year - July 2nd. Fingers crossed
