Ready To Run

Ready To Run
Saturday (Dec 5th) is the big day for our Santa and his fourteen Elves as they set out to raise money for the town's Alice House Hospice. They'll be running a half marathon in fancy dress setting off from the club at 10.30 and returning some time later ..

The team captained by Matty Tyers (aka Santa) set out to raise £500 for the hospice, which has lost some £1.5m during the lockdown. To date they have raised more than £7,000 - providing they complete the course. You can help them by contributing at their Just Giving page.

During the last nine months the club has benefitted from financial help from members,  supporters and local businesses, so it's tremendous that the lads can show we are also very much a part of the local community by setting off on a not inconsiderable challenge.

The "team" is:

Matt Tyers (capt)

James Tyers,

Alex Johnson

Liam Rutherford

Danny Quinn

Will Corbett

Zac Southern

Eldon Myers

Tom Shaw

Harry Mayes

Aidan Jackson-Smith

Liam Pennick

Will Hilditch

Peter Youll

Andrew Rollins
