The Gannock started off life as a Roman fort and it's still a tricky place to get a result.
We managed it in 2016 against the odds in a 34-20 win - Chris Atkins suffering an injury in the warm-up, which kept him out for the rest of the season.
The tufty pitch was also blamed for hamstring injuries to Zac Southern and Lee Maddison with a 17 year old Jake Linighan coming on for one of his very first appearances. He's still showing promise and will start the game this week alongside those 2016 injury victims.
Hilditch scored in that game (pictured) and his 22 tries from 23 appearances last season were a major feature of our promotion. He will start in the centre against a home side which lost 52 -24 at Moortown last week.
Front rows Adam Brown and Michael Hogan both suffered injuries last week in the fightback against Pocklington, and will miss the trip. Fortunately, Andrew Rollins is back in the swing and resumes in his usual position of hooker and a fit looking Danny Cookland is alongside.
Liam Pennick is over his 19th birthday celebrations and will be providing front row cover alongside fellow Academy graduate Ethan Ledington, who had such an encouraging pre-season in the back row.
Luke Mallinson's versatlity earns him a return to the bench after a starring role for the Stags last week.
