Barnard Castle ran us ose last week in a game we were relieved to win 22-17.
The Teessiders promise similarly tough opposition on their own pitch despite only having won three games so far - we are proving a big scalp to a lot of clubs.
Several late cry-offs through injury meant a much changed pack last week with Ross Wood and Jonny Hunter coming into the front row and having to play the full 80 minutes – Hunter scoring the try which eventually saw his side home.
Adam Coates is back this week after illness, but fellow prop Danny Cookland, the scorer of a 55 metre try at Whitby, is still out with a foot injury. Fortunately Adam Brown has recovered from the knock which saw him limp off last week and he moves back to the front row after his stint at No 8.
In the back-row Jay Corbett is fit and back at No 8 with Chris Atkins in the second row alongside Jake Linighan.
Will Hilditch picked up a knock in training and will be on the bench allowing Gav Painter to return after his injury.
And Max Tennant makes his debut on the wing for the injured Adam Peacock.
