West Academy Launched
The new West Academy is officially underway after the coaching team gave a breakfast presentation to parents and players ... the under 16's then went off to win  at Bishop Auckland .......

Academy Coaches

The Academy will freature this year's Under 16's and Under 15's boys and girls.

They will all benefit from an experiencded team led by Iain Dixon and including Graeme Southern, Stu Waites,  Michelle Martin, Jamie Commolly and Mark Caswell.  Falcons Academy Manager Mark Laycock is also helping to establish the Academy which will have nutritonal and fitness support from Andy Turner, Chris Atkins and Gez.

It has been formed after Under 16's coaches Mark Caswell and Jamie Connolly put their heads together.

Mark says: "We were looking to see what would be best for our lads as they approached senior rugby, and we think an Academy is the best way of bringing them on .

"The team the club has put together is absolutely tremendous and we are all really excited about next season."
