The two sides have met virtually every season since 2004 with honours pretty much even. In recent seasons scorelines have been close - the home side tending to come out on top.
Driff lost at Morpeth in their first game this season, however they bounced back in some style last week scoring more than 40 points against a strong Pocklington side, including running in three tries from 70 metres.
Like West they now bring on their own talent and also have a talented teenage No 8. in Will Burns. He has featured for the Under 18's Independent Schools National side - ironically he is a product of Pocklington School.
Sam Miller, our own young No8, will be fit after being one of the many to pick up a knock at Malton and Norton last week.
The hard pitch and long grass has done for Chris Atkins who has long term knee ligament problems, Zac Southern (hamstring) and Paul Moss who is proving a supersub in coming off the bench to score - his effort against Malton & Norton is pictured.
Fortunately, Tim Blades is back from cleaning out his old Loughborough University flat, Jay Corbett returns from holiday and Eldon Myers from Her Majesty's Service.
Lee Maddison, who has had a tremendous start to the season, has recovered from a hip injury and he'll start alongside Miller and skipper Danny Boatman.
West: Luke Mallinson, Eldon Myers, Liam Checksfield, Peter Youll, Will Hilditch, Gavin Painter, Ryan Painter, Adam Coates, Andrew Rollins, Ross Wood, John Bunter, Jay Corbett, Lee Maddison, Dan Boatman (captain), Sam Miller.
Changes: Greg Edwards, Tim Blades, Alex Barker.
