If the game goes ahead there will be changes from the side which demolished Rovers on Boxing Day in what will be similar mudbath conditions.

Ross Wood has a chest infection, while Chris Atkins is still recovering from the concussion he suffered against Rovers.

Fortunately, Michael Hogan is over his back injury, although Adam Coates is still out, so he will pack down alongside Andrew Rollins and Jack Angus in the front row.

Aaron Myers is available and will provide cover from the bench. Winger Joe Willis is also now available after the Colts National Cup game with Wharfedale was called off. The National One club conceding the tie yesterday because they are unable to raise a side.

We produced our best rugby of the season in the first fixture back in September running in 42 unanswered points against a side which had only lost one home game in three years, and were buoyed by their promotion to the highest level at which the Belmangate club has played.

Guisborough have gone on to consolidate their place in North One East. They are currently in ninth place and, most importantly, sixteen points clear of the relegation places.

They've built their recent success on a big pack which could well be fancying it's chances in the mud. We will be looking to continue the form we showed on the King George V pitch when the handling and support play was outstanding.
