There's also a couple of changes on the flanks thanks to last week's injuries, which means that Peter Youll gets his chance in the first team after some outstanding displays for the Stags.

Steve Jones will be on the other wing following his starring role last week in egging Luke Watson on to win the foot race for his interception try.

David Heckles is unavailable because of work commitments so the talented Ryan Painter will be at full back, while Chocky returns from his Scarborough sojourn to resume his blossoming partnership with Michael Hogan.

Andy Robson will be on the bench following his late call up last week after the Scarborough Omnibus Company refused to accept Chocky's bus pass.  The former winger is a fine athlete and put in a great shift when he came on in the second row in the win over Bradford and Bingley.

Scott Butcher returns to provide cover in the backs with Ian Pinchen also returning to provide front row back up.

The coaches will be looking for another fully committed performance. After the injury problems of the first month of the season the performancesand results have improved dramatically, and last week's win took us out of the bottom three for the first time. 

Oddly enough we have the same record as we had at this stage last season in that we have played nine games and have 18 points  - the difference being we have more bonus points this time around.

The other difference is that this time we have already played at the top clubs and other clubs around  us still have to go to places like Chester, Harrogate and Sandal. After Penrith we have two home games - against Rossendale and Waterloo - and a decent return of points could see us breathing a bit more easily come December.

Winters Park is never an easy place to go with Percy Park the only away victors so far.  The Cumbrians gave themselves a relegation shock last season, but are doing  better this seasson and are currently fifth with 25 points. They will include Anth Carr's brother Glenn in the front row.
