The visitors came down from National Two North season and have a much changed side in N3N. However, replacement front row Richard Harryman did play back in 2001 - as did a fresh faced Chocky Davies in a side led by player coach John Stabler.
After his try of the season romp at Burnage last week he's an obvious shoe-in for the second row. He will pack down alongside Michael Hogan with Craig Gilmour unavailabke because of illness.
Ian Pinchen is available again and starts in the front row with Andrew Dixon dropping down to the bench where he'll be joined by Nathan Myers. The middle Myers is one of the bright spots of the season including scoring against Billingham when he came off the bench. He's making way for Jonny Boatman who was unavailable last week but along with Andrew Foreman is likely to be usesd tactically thanks to the new replacments laws which now make it an 18 man game. .
In the backs the evergreen Steve Jones continues on the wing. Greg Edwards returns the other flank with Col Cheslin dropping back to full back in place of David Heckles who picked up a knock at Burnage..
A win is very much needed specially after the last two displays when we outscored Billingham by three tries to two only to lose by one point, together with last week's defeat by the last kick of the game at Burnage.
You know your luck is out when your penalty to make it 20-14 hits the post and then the opposition come back with a drop goal and a penalty in the final seconds of a long injury time.
Kendal have won two of their six games so far but have managed five bonus poiints thanks to close games.
