It was a far better peformance than the scruffy display at Billingham. Both sides were missing some regulars which gave us the chance to give plenty of players some game time.

Iit was a typical steamrolling try from No 8 Stephen Stockdale which started the seven try haul.

It was followed by a try on the quarter hour made from a barnstorming run by the impressive Gareth Eddy. Andrew Foreman was on his shoulder to finish under the posts.

Boro were struggling to get out of their own half and it was no surprise when West whipped the ball out wide for Adam Larkin to put us 19-0 up at half time.

 Andrew Dixon finished off our best move of the game on 45 minutes. Andrew Cheslin broke down the right, and his pass inside to Larkin brought in Andrew Foreman and Gav Robinson who both made ground to create the space for Dicker to dive in under the posts with some style..

Boro finally mounted some pressure, and fly half Adie Rose got their consolation when he spotted a gap in the West defence after a quick tap penalty.

We came back with three more tries. Dan Boatman made a tremendous break through the middle to set up Andrew Foreman then Zac Southern finished off some neat interpassing down the left.

Finally, Dan Boatman popped up in his own 22 to steal the ball off the Boro forwards. Fellow back row Chris Atkins threw out a long pass to Peter Hodgson who made 50 metres up the wing -  Paul Miller was on his shoulder and took the pass to stroll over and complete the scoring.
