Hythe 2's vs Milford on Sea
| Brockhart Smashes Hythe's Unbeaten Record |
Hythe 2's slipped to their first defeat of the season largely due to the hard hitting of Jake Brockhart who smashed 5 sixes in an innings of 43*.
Hythe lost the toss and were put into bat. Simon Wright 22 & Zac Millar 17 put on 45 for the first wicket. The Milford bowlers were all over the place with their line and length and in total gave Hythe 79 runs in wides. Hythe however only managed 53 with the bat and posted a score of 134 for 3.
The game was evenly poised with Ali Bryers taking two Milford wickets but Bond 29 & Ferrar 15 kept them in the game and then Brockhart 43* took over smashing his five sixes to the back wall as the Hythe bowlers had no answers. Milford got home with 2 balls spare.
