DIRECTIONS TO THE GROUND:
If you use multimap look at the ariel photograph - ground just past S045 6AX on the left hand side

From Junction 2 on the M27, take the A326 to Fawley.
Go straight over three small roundabouts
Then keep going for approximately four miles.
Come to roundabout
Turn left signposted Dibden & Hythe
Past church on left and up and over a large hill
Keep going will see Dibden Golf Course on right
Keep going half a mile will see sign saying HYTHE
Quarter of a mile on the left you will see -
Flats and a Shell Petrol Station on the left
Turn left in between into Jones Lane.
Up and over the railway bridge and ground is on left hand side.
CAUTION NEEDED : On entering the gates - 5 MPH LIMIT PLEASE BE WARY OF PEDESTRIANS ESPECIALLY YOUNG CHILDREN. |
Drive up the path behind the tree on the boundary edge and park over on the left hand side.
IF THE GATES HAVE BEEN LOCKED
Continue past the Police Station on the left to the end of the road
At the bottom turn left
50 yards keep left up the hill.
Parish Halls on the left hand side and roadside parking
Cut through the park on left and into the ground
Bring the family
2 minute walk to the village centre
Kiddies park at back of ground
Good teas and own bar
Ferry from the village into Southampton every 30 minutes.
If your lucky you may see one of the cruiseliners in dock QE2, Queen Mary & Aurora

From M27- jct. 2 take 1st exit onto A326 towards Totton/Hythe/Fawley. Follow A326 for approx. 10 miles to Blackfield.
After Tesco Express on left in Blackfield, Thornbury Avenue is 1/2 mile on left. Entrance to recreation ground on left.
From Beaulieu follow B3054 to Hilltop then turn right. Continue straight along Rollestone Road and at junction turn right onto Hampton Lane
Thornbury Avenue is approx. 1 mile on left.
