MEAD & MILLAR MAKE IT DOUBLE WINNING WEEKEND FOR GREEN CAPS OVER RIVALS

Zac MILLAR 40*	Josh MEAD 41*

Hythe Under 15's Cruised to a 68 run win over local rivals Fawley on Sunday morning @ Holbury. Hythe amassed 146 for 1 off their 18 overs with Forest Boys Zac Millar 40* and Josh Mead 41* in fine form. Froggie gave his fringe bowlers a chance to shine with Chrris Griffin 2-7 the pick

On a drizzely morning up at Holbury Froggie took his Hythe Under 15 lads to face Fawley. In recent years Frogie's team has come out well on top so he was hoping for more of the same following Hythe's narrow defeat to Sway the weekend before.

Hythe won the toss and elected to bat first on the County 1 ground. Zac Millar and Josh Mead both made the most of their chance to get good scores. Millar retired on 40 not out whilst Josh Mead retired on 41*. With the Fawley bowlers helping with 39 extras Hythe totalled 146 for 1 off their 18 overs. Kieran Chalmers ended on 13 not out whilst Richard Jones was out to the final ball for 13.

Feeling conrefrained from using his top bolwers Mead and Chalmers. Instead opting to give everyone else a chance. Fawley lost both openers ealy on to Sam Long and Chris Griffin. A.Freeman scored 43 not out out of the Fawley total of 78 for 5 in reply. There were 2 wickets for Chris Griffin whilst Marc Reid, Nathan Froggett and Sam Long picked up the others.

Hythe win by 68 runs with tougher games to come.
