Connolly Recovers From Op
Connolly
Club skipper Jamie Connolly is hoping to start training soon after a successful "nip and tuck" on a wayward bit of cartilage in his knee. The Kiwi centre cum fly half suffered the injury in the home game against Tynedale but struggled on to the end of the season.

He underwent keyhole surgery last week and is already fit enough to push a trolley round Tesco.

He said: "It was restricting me towards the end of the season but hopefully the op has done the trick and I'm looking foward to the start of the season.

"Most of the lads have stayed on form last season and there's a great spirit so let's see what we can do."
