Andrew Hare returns from his nasty knee injury and Paul Moss takes over at fly half in the side to take on Alnwick. A mixture of unavailability and rotational switches also sees Henry Tones and Ryan Phillips return to the pack.

It means that Jon Boatman, player of the season so far, gets a bit of a rest on the bench with younger brother Dan keeping his place alongside Tones and Sawyer.

In the absence of Masheddar, Paul Moss is likely to get a chance at putting our goal kicking problems right. Darren Thomas moves back to 15 with Panda and the in-form Martin Todd on the wings.

Carlo Robinson is still not fit, and Mark Cholmondeley has been unable to train, but the enigmatic Ryan Phillips has put in a session or two and makes a welcome return.

Alnwick surprisingly went down at Stockton last week after winning their previous three games to claw themselves off the bottom of the table. Those victories included a 21-6 score against Sheffield at homewhich featured three push over tries. They are sensing safety so it promises to be a hard fought affair in what should be quite damp and muggy conditions.
