Team to take on Sheffield
Carlo
Carlo Robinson returns to the front row as the only change to the West side which takes on Sheffield at Brinkburn [kick off 2:15]. He takes over from Mark Cholmondeley who has been standing in at tighthead.

Coaches Stubbs, Burgon and Stabler give the other players the chance to show the form which despatched Morpeth and Percy Park.

It came unstuck against Driffield despite outscoring the visitors by four tries to three.

James Masshedar has been nominated as goalkicker and it's hoped he will get plenty of chances. We have scored 15 tries in the last three games so the omens are good - but our normally strong defence deserted us against some strong running Driffield forwards.

Sheffield present an unknown quantity. They started off as favourites for promotion by virtue of the fact that they camwe down from North One last season and changed their coahcing set-up. So far its hasn't been a great success and they are on the same league points as us [8] but have a worse points difference.

West: Masshedar, Thomas, Hodgson, Edwards, Todd, Wallis, Tighe [capt], Carr, Cullinane, Robinson, Davies, Rudd, D Boatman, J Boatman, Sawyer. Reps: Tones, C Miller, Williamson.
