Team To Take On League Leaders
Peter Hodgson
Allan Milne returns to the starting line up and Peter Hodgson starts at full back as we take on league leaders Beverley at Brinkburn [3.00]. The Stags will be sending a very strong squad across to Acklam as they try to make it 5 wins out of 7 in the Merit League.

Both squads are benefitting from players returning from injury with Brett Cullinane at hooker and Chummer and Carlo Robinson starting alongside him with Anth Carr poised on the bench.

Apart from Brett its the same pack which gave away only a handful of penalties at Huddersfield last week in a much more controlled performance. Both Boatman's are once again in the back row, alongside Henry Tones who will be at openside.

Phil Wallis celebrates his 21st birthday by once again getting the nod at No 10 with Davy Tighe at scrum half.

It should be a fascinating contest. Beverley have been promoted twice in the last two years since pushing the boat out and signing Posa and allowing him to bring in a number of Kiwis - he himself is a Junior All Black but now represents his father's home country.

Fellow Kiwi Matthew Jones is the team's goalkicker - he's a prop!.

Beverley lost thei first game at Durham City but have gone on to win their last four games and can obviously scent a third promotion in the wind.
