The No 8 captained the side against Rovers, despite being in hospital during the week. He returned there on Sunday after developing the blood clot and is now at home recovering.
Allan Milne and Brett Cullinane are also on the injured list. Brett limped off at half time against Rovers with a calf injury. Allan Milne left the field in a similar fashion after being tripped as he headed for the line. Both injuries are not too serious.
