Squad for Redcar

Squad for Redcar
Phil Henderson
Phil Henderson returns to the starting line-up in place of the romantically inclined Chocky Davies as we look to guarantee safety with a win at Redcar. Its one of three enforced changes from the side which returned to form last week against Malton and Norton.

Anth Carr hasn't been able to train this week after taking a belt in the face and will have to be content with a place on the bench. Fortunately, Ryan Phillips is available so Brett moves over to hooker.

Paul Rudd dislocated a finger in last week's warm up but went on to have his best game for some time. However, the injury has also stopped him training so Carl Miller is standing-by. Like Hendo he has had an excellent season even though he still maintains he's a back row.

But the way the back row is playing it would be hard for anyone to dislodge Messrs Tones, Sawyer and Jonny Boatman. One player who has a better chance than most is younger brother Dan who has been impressing the more experienced in the "AmStags" side and he will probably be on the bench alongside Phil Wallis and Anth.

The backs will be unchanged after looking a more cohesive unit last week with the addition of stand-off James Hauxwell. With a decent weather forecast this might just be a game which is won in the backs.

Redcar reckon they need three wins from their last four games ... they'll be anxiously waiting to see which West turns up.

Redcar make three changes to the team that lost to Sandal last week. In the forwards, Glen Teeley comes in at open side, Ritchie Barker moves to No8 and Graeme Evans switches to blind side. Captain Neil Cook moves back to second row with Mark Poulsen on the bench. In the backs, Liam Turner is preferred at fly half, and Mathew Storey returns to the wing allowing Greg Unthank to revert outside centre. Steve Bryce moves to the bench.
