This is one of the target games between now and the end of season and, apart from the introduction of Hauxwell, it's the most experienced line up available.

Mark Cholmondeley also starts at tighthead where he has been much improved this season and he'll be playing in the knowledge that Ryan Phillips is available once again and will be on the bench.

Hauxwell joined the club from Stockton two months ago where he played stand off and full back. He was described there as a very promsining fly half and looked comfortable there when he switched from the wing at Huddersfield last week.

It allows superb stand-in Davy Tighe to revert to his favoured scrum half where he is able to assert more of his influence as skipper.

Darren Thomas has been catching the eye at 9 all season but can be equally effective on the wing where he'll start against Malton.

The weather forecast is for another windy day so it looks like being another forwards battle. Like us Malton don't travel too well, but they're a pacy skillful side who probably need just two more points to ensure they don't fall into the relegation dogfight.

Like us they have a number of different personnel from the side which put 30 points on us in September. Back row James McKay did us a lot of damage that day but is not in the side this week although No 8 Andy Mitchell, who did play in the first game, is just as dangerous. Skipper Chris Creber makes them tick at fly half and Ian Cooke, who was on the wing last time around, is now making a name for himself with some strong running from full back. Both centres have changed and only Liam Vaughan remains in the front row ... this time he's at loosehead but played tighthead previously.
