Spoilt For Choice
Back In Town
How is this for a pack - Cholmondeley, Butler, Williams, Clayton, Carl Miller, Edwards, Dan Boatman, Gilbraith? Well turn up at Brinkburn and you can see it in action against Rovers Heughers in the County Cup tomorrow ... and if you stand in the right place you can watch the firsts take on Morpeth.

The Stags would have deservedly taken centre stage, if the Morpeth game had not been rearranged, but the strength of their squad promises much for the future. The backs will include the likes of Paul Moss at centre and Dan Abrahams on the wing - all picked from a turnout of 42 at training last night.

It's also a must win game for the firsts against a Morpeth side four points below us. Brett will be back in the sqaud after returning from visiting his family in New Zealand but Stuart Bennett will be missing through injury.

Apart from Brett and Stu its very much the side which took on Rovers on Boxing Day with the coahces plumping for experience.

Morpeth have had to make a couple of enforced changes. Full back Tom Wilkinson has gone down with mumps so speedy winger Nick Harper will be at full back. In the pack second row Duncan Hutton is unavailable so prop Richard Morrison moves to lock, with Chris Pringle coming in at hooker, and David Dickinson moving over to tighthead.

Its our first home game since Boxing Day - the day of the Tsunami disaster - so there will be a half time collection for the appeal with every pound donated being matched by the Halifax.
