Fortunately, we now have more strength in depth with Martin Todd coming in at outside centre and Chocky Davies dropping into the back row to make room for the return of Phil Henderson - one of the unsung heroes of the season so far.

The same can be said of Jon Boatman who has improved every game as he gets to know the side. He'll be at 8 with Tim Sawyer and Chocky alongside in what looks like a mobile back row.

Henry will be left frustrated on the touchline following the concussion he got from a cheap shot against Sandal. Tony had his best game so far against Sandal but injured his shoulder player for Teesside University during the week.

The front row will continue after an impressive show last time out. Anth Carr is slotting in very well at hooker, while Cholmondeley deserves the long run he is getting at his much favoured loosehead. Ryan Phillips is the find of the season so far providing balance in the front row.

Alnwick have had a superb start to the season losing only one game so far ...by 40 odd points at Sandal the week before we played them.

They also managed a draw at Huddersfield and are very much in contention at the top.
