Dan Abrahams is unavailable so Tommy Barff makes his first start of the season.
Up front Jon Boatman comes in for his debut at flanker, alongside Henry and skipper Stuart Bennett, with Mark Cholmondeley starting at prop and Anth Carr dropping down to the bench. The other absentee is Paul Rudd who is taking it easy so as not to get injured befor his Fire Brigade training starts next month.

Horden are also missing some quality players such as Messrs Thubron and Tait but, as ever, will be hard nut to crack. They lost a lot of their backs to other sides during the summer but still mamnaged to rattle in more than 30 points at home to much fancies Driffield last week. The visitors score 49 points of their own but Horden will take heart from the scoreline especuially as it was their first competitive game together.
