Chocky Hearing
Chocky Davies goes up before the RFU again next Monday. It follows the wiping out of the first Durham hearing which banned him for a year. This was on procedural grounds so the whole affair will now be heard by a North panel at Brighouse.

Davies admits verbally attacking the Westoe team manager who was running touch following the award of a try for the home side. He denies physically assaulting the official and this was accepted at the first hearing. The verdict there was that Davies should be banned for 12 months for the verbal attack which is about 9 months longer than the RFU guideline.

In view of Davies's admission that he had sworn at the official the club has already banned the second row for 8 weeks.
