The coaches have had a look at it and measured it out and reckon it will do the job. The drainage isn't as good as the old pitch [which has been weeded and reseeded] but that will be a good stand-by when winter sets in.
Before it can be used we'll need to find some new goalposts and put in some posts so we can rope it off on match days to meet league regulations.
One spin-off will be that people driving along Catcote Road on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings will be well aware that under no illusion that we are still in business!
