Whoever wins will take the second Durham place - along with Darlington - in the first round proper which starts a week later.
West team manager Dave Ince says: "It'll get the season off to a competitive start and gives us the chance to go into the league season with some real match practice under our belts.
"It also gives us a chance to bring some money into the coffers."
