West will be appealing against the length of the ban. Chocky was unable to give eveidece on his own behalf at the original hearing, after badly damaging his ankle in the cup game at Blaydon, but will be able to travel to Brighouse.

The RFU appeal hearing following Chocky Davies's one year ban will be held at Brighouse rugby club on Monday July 5th. The ban followed Chocky's sending off at Westoe after a verbal clash with the home team manager who was running touch.
