Cuff and Walton Back For Morley

Cuff and Walton Back For Morley
Recovering
Michael Walton and Phil Cuff will both return to the West squad for the short trip to Morley. Walton is home on leave from his job in Holland [any job offers at home gratefully received!]while Cuff is back home from Cambridge Uni. It's timely news with West stretched in the backs.

The serious injury to Mark Thompson looked like the final blow to an already decimated back division. Thommo's jaw is broken in two places, but is healing well and was in good spirits at last week's dinner.

Brett Cullinane was also injured - and gets the staples out of his head this Wednesday! Whether he is allowed to play with a scrum cap on remains to be seen.

Fortunately, the front and back rows are areas where we do have cover.

The backs are further bolstered by the return of Allan Milne who came through 60 minutes against Liverpool in some style.

So the three quarters could line up: Tighe, Connolly, Kerr, Milne, Cuff, Hodgson/Thomas Walton. Not bad.
