Second Row Problems

Second Row Problems
Carl Miller
Both our regular second rows look like missing the Durham Cup encounter with Horden this Saturday at Brinkburn [kick off 2.30]. Paul Rudd is out for a few weeks with a knee ligament strain while Carl Miller also injured his shoulder at Sandal.

Chocky Davies will almost certainly fill one of the second row berths with Anth Carr favourite for the other - if his mate Carl is unfit.

Henry Tones will return in the back row, following his injury against Hull, while Stuart Bennett will have to undergo a fitness test after spending all week at the Cheltenham Festival with John Stabler.

There's also competition on the wings with a return to the first team squad for Dan Abrahams. Teenager Paul Miller has looked impressive since being given his chance and will almost certainly retain his place but could get a chance on his favoured left wing.

Both clubs are fielding strong sides - despite rumours to the contrary - but one big factor could be the weather. the forecast is for severe gales and driving rain!
