Strongest Line Up

Strongest Line Up
Tom Steele
Centre Tom Steele makes his debut for West as the coaches go for the strongest available line up to start the game against Tech [Brinkburn 3.00]. He comes in for Allan Milne who is suffering badly with an infected wisdom tooth. The bench will be full of promising talent.

But its the more experienced players who will begin the game. Brett is injured so Chummer, Carlo and Gez will be in the front row with Chocky and Garse in the second row and Gilly, Britton and Stu in the back row.

Davy Tighe will lead the side at 10 with Darren Thomas at last getting his chance at 9 - after playing everywhere else in the backs in the last couple of seasons.

David Mullen has been going well in training, and comes in for the injured Tommy Barff, while Panda should be over his stomach bug.

Tom Rance will be at 15 but Tim Sawyer will be out of place on a very youthful bench. The skipper has a knee injury and is being rested. All off the Colts did well at Old Boys and six of them will get a chance to have another run out tomorrow.

West: Rance, Hare, Steele, Thompson, Mullen, Tighe, Thomas, Cholmondeley, Robinson, Geritz, Rudd, Davies, Gilbraith, Britton, Bennett.

Reps: Carr, Butler, Miller, Edwards, Moss, Todd, Sawyer.
