The Under 15's have once again done the club proud. Now the team which can't stop winning on the pitch has clinched the Special Team Award at the annual Hartlepool Sports Council presentation.

Hartlepool's "Special" Team of The Year

The "Vikings" have won the County Cup three times in a row and won this year's Houghton Fesrtival. They have seven players in the County Schools and two in the County set up, in the shape of Chris Lambert and Tom Dixon whose dad [no less than West legend Big John] reckons he taught his lad all he knows about goal kicking!

Skipper Gareth Eddy picked up the award on behalf of his boys. Its well deserved by them all as well as their dedicated and enthusiastic coaching squad.

Hartlepool United won the award for Outstanding Team Pperformance [apparently the won something called promotion] while England netball player Vicky Burgess won the top award for Hartlepool Sports Personality of the Year.
