of course, while Tom played for the junior sides until he
went to Durham School who didn't allow him to play for
the club. It was Gareth's first appearance for Falcons after joining the Academy which also includes a bursary to help him through University.

This will cheese you off but the story must be told! Three former West juniors starred for Falcons Under 21's at the weekend. Gareth Kerr, Mark Laycock and Tom Stockport were in the side which beat league leaders Bristol by 24-16 at Kinsgton Park.
