Barffy at Centre

Barffy at Centre
Tommy Barff
Tommy Barff will partner the in-form Jamie Connolly in the team to take on West Park at St Helens. Both Davy Tighe and Allan Milne are unfit so it means that David Mullen comes in for his first start on the wing and Darren Thomas will wear his preferred No 9 shirt.

There's one change in the pack with Stu Bennett standing down to allow Phil Gilbraith to start in the back row alongside Ed Britton and Tim Sawyer.

Big Stu was in impressive form in the victories against Cleckheaton and Chester but, with so many back row players, John Stabler can enjoy the rare luxury of being able to shuffle his pack.

Glynn Dono will be on the other wing as we look for three wins in a row - and another move up the ladder towards avoiding relegation.

All of a sudden finishing third from bottom is a realistic possibility with everything likely to hinge on the final game at rivals Huddersfield.

West Tom Rance, David Mullen, Tommy Barff, Jamie Connolly, Glynn Dono, John Stabler, Darren Thomas, John Painter [capt], Brett Cullinane, Carl Robinson, Paul Rudd, Andrew Davies, Ed Britton, Phil Gilbraith, Tim Sawyer.

Reps from: Stu Bennett, Mark Baggs, Henry Tones, Michael Geritz.
