If neither are fit the dependable Paul Rudd is likely to step up to second row which means that new signing Ed Britton could be in the back row with Stu Bennett and Tim Sawyer.

Britton came on as a replacement last week and performed well as did his University colleague Tom Rance on the left wing.

Phil Gilbraith is also knocking on the door, and Stabler could decide to start with Bennett on the bench to give youth its head for the first hour of the game.

The rest of the side picks itself and will have to put in a full 80 minutes if we are to get a result against third placed Chester.

They are only two points behind leaders Cleckheaton who surprisingly lost heavily at Macclesfield last week. Rumour has it that they've lost a couple of key players with the start of the Rugby League season - next week Cleckie visit us!
