There was six inches of snow on the playing fields today. A thaw is promised after even more snow but, if that happens, the pitches are likely to be flooded.
West vice Chairman Stu Murray inspected the pitches today and said: "Even if all the snow disappeared it would leave them in a sorry state.
"They do drain well but we have promised the College we will look after them and that's what we are doing."
