West vice-Chairman Stu Murray reported an inch of snow on the pitch by mid-morning on Thursday - but no final decision will be made until Friday.
If the game is off it is likely to be rescheduled for Saturday February 15th - the day we were due to play at Westoe in the County Cup. That game was already in the balance as a result of our ban from all cup competitions next season which followed our inability to fulfil the Powergen cup game at Darlington earlier this season.
We have written to both Westoe and the County RFU saying that the game is a little pointless from our viewpoint especially as we have a smallsquad and can't afoord many more injuries.
