The back row of Paul Rudd, Henry Tones, and Tim Sawyer is very mobile and tackles way above its weight. But Stabs will be hoping the Morley pitch isn't a mudbath.

With so many injuries the backs pick themselves these days so Tommy Barff and Darren Thomas will be on the wings. The in form Allan Milne will stay at inside centre alongside Jamie Connolly who is off home to New Zealand for a couple of weeks later this month - that will create a new dilemma for Stabs.

But first we have the target games against Morley and next week at Aspatria. How many teams go down this season depends on who finishes in the bottom three of National 3 North. At the moment its three teams who would drop down into Midlands One and that could be very good news for us.

But first we have to avoid finishing bottom and third or even fourth from the bottom would be better news still.

Morley beat us at Brinburn thanks to a virtuoso performance from stand off Colin Stephens who scored all of their 29 points. Since then they have been stuttering and conceded 50 points at Darlington last week.

They were down to 13 men for the whole of the second half after centre Jason Fieldhouse and new prop Kahn Rudolph were red carded in the first half. Darlington also had a player sent off in the first half.

However, Morley already have 14 points in the bag and their season is effectively over.
